Kevin Hanek's work on the Culinary Institute of America's Breakfasts & Brunches was recognized at the 2005 New York Book Show with a Third Place award in the Specialty Trade Cookbook division. The award is shared with Lebhar-Friedman Publishing and Imago USA for excellence in book production. This is Hanek's second award at the Show, the largest and most prestigious in the country. He won First Place in the Trade Interior Design division in 2002.
